Website

This website, Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA) Online allows you to:

  • find information on individual bonds, including:

    • bond status
    • date lodged
    • property address
    • transfers and claims related to that bond, and
    • tenant details
A copy of this bond summary is accepted by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) as proof of the bond held by the RTBA.
  • submit a bond lodgment, tenant transfer, or repayment claim electronically. After submitting the electronic transaction, the bond details are sent to the tenant(s) to approve. Once all tenants approve, the transaction is finalised.
  • generate paper bond forms where an electronic submission is not possible, such as agent/landlord transfers.
  • search a list of unclaimed bond repayments (retained repayments), and generate a form to request this money to be paid to you.
